The Back Story:
Barry Tripp is a driver I should know more about, but I don’t. The car I am most familiar with barry
being a part of was that purple #34 coach, I liked that car, and in that car
was the only win Barry ever recorded at Lebanon Valley Speedway. LVC sharp shooter Arnie A. pointed out that this #99 car was more than likely the Kenny Coon #302 Coon gremlin at one time. Here’s a few pictures of Barry Tripp from Harriet Knox, I
believe all from 1972. The win
picture was the first and only for Tripp at LV, and it came on opening night
in 1972. Pictured in the win photo
from left to right are: George (Doc) Peck, Bob
(Butch) Peck, starter Marty Beberwyk, Barry Tripp, brother Elmer, behind him
his Walt Peck who built the car, and Warren (Rube) Walker. This car was garaged in
Thomaston Connecticut at Walt Peck's house.
